Design Approach
Designing Radium Girls was an honor and a joy. Having the opportunity to honor these women, their voices, and their stories is something I will carry close to me for a long time. Being based on a true story, I wanted the truth of the story to lead the design. Pulling the color story from Emma Civey Stahl's Woman's Rights Quilt (1875), I aimed to assist the women of the Woman's Rights movement in painting their own story.
